Frustrated with her long name, Mimay (10) dreams of choosing a shorter surname. She learns about inherited names from friends and a family tree at home. As she and her teammates face a tough dodgeball match, Mimay tackles her small present battles and bigger questions of identity, with help from her mother and a notebook full of last name ideas.
